From Raccoon to XcooN - The Story

It all started with a raccoon. More precisely, with Mateo – football-mad and mascot of the U17 team at his club. Always in the thick of it with the cool guys, his BROs, his gang – as a raccoon, as a good luck charm, as a little brother who always celebrated the style of the big guys and wanted to look just like them.

That's how our journey began and how XcooN was founded – from a raccoon, an idea, and a whole lot of creativity. For us as a family, it's a passion project, with Mateo always at its heart. He brings the ideas – sometimes wild, sometimes abstract – and we discuss styles, colors, and cuts at the kitchen table. In the end, we decide everything together.

Our first name? Raccoon – inspired by the mascot. But that was too boring for us. We wanted something unique, cooler, more stylish. We tried wordplay, omitted letters, swapped them, read them backward. And then, after many wild ideas, there it was: XcooN.
